Boiler Descaling
Scale on boiler tubes is a silent fuel tax — even a thin film forces the burner to work harder and creeps toward tube failure. Our boiler descaling service chemically removes calcium, silica and iron scale from water-tube and smoke-tube boilers, economisers and feed lines without cutting or mechanical damage. We circulate inhibited acid at controlled strength and temperature, monitor spent-acid readings live, then neutralise and passivate the metal — bringing your boiler back to rated efficiency and safe operation. Every job ends with before/after scale samples and a signed service report.

- Site survey and scale-deposit analysis
- Inhibited-acid chemical cleaning — no dismantling
- Corrosion-inhibited formulation, safe on tube metal
- Live monitoring of acid strength and dissolved iron
- Neutralisation and passivation after cleaning
- Safe neutralised drain-off / spent-chemical handling
- Before/after scale samples and efficiency check
- Signed service report with a re-dosing recommendation
- 01Inspection & water-side survey
Open, inspect and sample the scale to fix acid type, strength and cleaning time.
- 02Isolation & rigging
Isolate the boiler and connect the circulation pump, tank and hoses in a closed loop.
- 03Inhibited-acid circulation
Circulate corrosion-inhibited acid at controlled temperature, tracking strength and iron until the scale is gone.
- 04Neutralisation & passivation
Drain, neutralise, then passivate the clean metal to prevent flash rust.
- 05Flush, inspect & report
Flush to clean water, re-inspect the tubes and hand over before/after samples with a service report.
No — we use corrosion-inhibited acids and monitor strength continuously, so scale dissolves while the base metal stays protected. Passivation afterwards leaves a clean, protected surface.
