LK 1001 is a concentrated, food-grade reverse-osmosis antiscalant engineered for the toughest feed waters — high silica, high TDS and high hardness. It holds reactive silica, calcium carbonate, sulphates and metal oxides in solution at high recovery, so membranes run longer between cleans without the risk of irreversible scaling. Effective at low dose across a wide pH range, and certified safe for potable and process water.

Dosage
LK 1001 Typically, a dose of 2 to 3 Feed water quantity, however exact dosage will depend on the characteristics feed water quality and operating conditions. It is suggested to run LK 1001HP dosage selection software on regular basis for optimized dosage of chemicals.

Safety & handling
- Handling
- LK 1001 is a strongly acidic product and can cause severe eye injury and skin burns.Wear rubber gauntlet gloves, goggles, face shield, impervious apron when handling. Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not take internally.
- Storage
- LK 1001HP is recommended in-plant storage to be in cold and shaded place for twelve months- 12 months. Material Safety Data Sheet will give complete handling information before using this product. If grossly overfed, this product is toxic to fish. Do not discharge into lakes, streams, waterways, ponds or public waters unless in accordance with a Pollution board permit. Always follow the label and MSDS when handling.
- Materials to avoid
- Neat LK 1001 form should not be allowed to come into contact with metals, organic materials or strong oxidizing agents.
- Materials compatibility
- LK 1001 is compatible with vinyl, polyethylene, PVC, Hypalon, Viton, Teflon, polypropylene, HDCL and BPDM, Brass, steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, neoprene, Buna-N and polyurethane.
